Everything you can do

The Mythflux Dock guide

A friendly walkthrough of collections, spaces, the sidebar, dashboard, AI, your custom new tab, and more. Screenshots appear below as you add them.

Welcome to Mythflux Dock

Mythflux Dock turns your browser into a workspace. Instead of one endless row of tabs, you organize browsing into collections, spaces, and focused sessions — with a sidebar on every page, a powerful dashboard, and a customizable new tab.

Think of it as: Collections (life areas) → Spaces (projects) → Tabs, tasks, notes, and resources inside each space.

Core concepts

Three ideas unlock everything else:

  • Unorganized tabs — your inbox. New browser tabs land here until you assign them to a space.
  • Collections — group related work (Dev, Work, Personal). Each holds its own spaces.
  • Spaces — a focused workspace. Opening a space swaps your browser tabs to that project's set.

The dashboard

Press Alt + Shift + D to open the dashboard — your command center. The sidebar mirrors your collections and spaces; the main pane shows tabs, tasks, notes, resources, and templates for the active section.

Use global search to jump to any tab, space, or collection. The Create menu adds collections, folders, and spaces.

Command bar

Alt + K opens the command bar from anywhere. Search open tabs, bookmarks, spaces, run actions, and navigate faster than clicking through menus.

Grant optional History & Bookmarks permissions when prompted for deeper search.

AI tab organizer

Mythflux can group your open tabs into spaces using AI — great after a research rabbit hole or when onboarding.

From the dashboard chat, ask to organize tabs or create collections from natural language. You can undo any AI layout from the toast or sidebar hint.

Custom new tab page

Mythflux replaces Chrome's new tab with a widget dashboard. Add clock, weather, focus timer, quick links, recent tabs, spaces overview, and more.

Click Customize to change backgrounds (gradients, photos, particles), themes, and widget settings. Click Edit layout to drag, resize, and rearrange widgets.

  • Layout presets: Focus, Dashboard, Minimal, or fully Custom
  • Per-widget settings — search engine, quote style, weather location, etc.
  • Backgrounds sync with your space accent when using per-space theme mode

Tasks, notes & resources

Every space (and Unorganized tabs) has multiple views beyond tabs:

  • Tasks — lightweight to-dos tied to the space
  • Notes — quick markdown notes for context and specs
  • Resources — saved links and references grouped in one place
  • Templates — reusable space layouts you can apply later

Space sessions & hibernation

Opening a space loads its tab session. Closing a space hides those tabs without losing them — switch back anytime.

Hibernation (Performance settings) can discard inactive tabs to save memory while keeping your layout intact.

Archive & trash

Archive collections or spaces you are not using day-to-day. Trash holds deleted items with a chance to restore before permanent removal.

Find both in the dashboard sidebar footer.
